I was reviewing the list of the 12 things that make a person rich and right at the top of the list is positive mental attitude. What I find interesting is how many people really see that as being the case. Having a PMA is more important than having financial wealth according to Think and Grow Rich. Funny that this is on the tapes but not really highlighted in the book.

Thanks for visiting my blog this afternoon. I like the kindness link very much too.. I just linked that this morning early on my blog. I'm certain you don't have to post the flower picture along with the link. Just copy the link and you can post an original picture . . or perhaps just text.. it is up to you. Thanks for the torts/law words of encouragement..do stop by again early and often:)

I like kindness but I dont think a flower would work for me. The legal field has some great people in it.

Do I have a choice of other things other than the flower?

Thanks for the comment on my blog, appreciate it!

On your post: I agree that a positive mental attitude is definitely a key aspect in becoming successful. But where a long the line does it come? Before or after wealth? It is all very well for people who have 'made it' to advise having a PMA. But, I think it is often difficult for people slogging their way up the food-chain to keep one. It is very much a 'chicken or the egg' question in my eyes. I know I definitely have trouble keeping a PMA, which may very well be my downfall.

PMA, is needed first. Is it hard to do? Yes. Being positive after success is not always either the challenges just become different.

PMA can be developed by feeding your mind as many positives as possible and learning to turn negatives into learning experiences which then turns them into positive experiences. Again is that easy? No.

Does everyone have challenges with PMA at times? Yes. Does Think and Grow Rich help with this issue? Yes.

Thank you very much for your kind words today. They were so encouraging especially at a time when I just don't feel like being positive. But I reflected on a few of your other posts (hope you don't mind me reading through for some inspiration) and I think that despite my troubles maybe I can make myself happier during these times by maintaining a positive outlook.

By the way, I really enjoyed your post about sleep. I generally have bad dreams or can't sleep but I think I am going to give this positive day analyzing a whirl and see if it helps. I am willing to try anything. Thanks again and feel free to visit me anytime!

Dancin - The quote on your blog reminded me of a book called "The Art of Happiness".
